    QUESTION Newbie question

    Hi,
I am a newbie, so forgive for stupid questions. But, don't a lot of your coupons expired before you use them? Also, what in the world does everyone do with all those products? Do you have storage space to the multiples, give away or sell at yard sales?? Again, forgive for stupid questions.:)

Welcome to HCW and couponing! Although I don't post very often here, I recommend this site to EVERYONE and I'm so thankful for all the hard work members do to bring us the great deals!

Your question is not stupid at all. Some coupons do expire before we use them and many of us send them to our US military overseas. They can use the expired coupons on the military bases for up to 6 mo. after they have expired.

Regarding your question about stocking - I have 2 large bookcases (bought at yard sale) that are in a side hallway that is hidden from most of the house. I use that for alot of food overstock as well as cabinet space. I also have a large chest freezer (bought on craigslist.org for $50). Paper goods and cleaning supplies are stored in the laundry room on wall to wall shelves that hubby installed and in the bathroom under cabinets. Many of us donate our extras to various agencies (food bank, woman's shelter) and individuals. They are very grateful for the freebies!

Hope that helps and good luck!

Thanks Faye. Great ideas and will start out slowly until I get the hang of it.
