HELP How do you do your own deal scenarios?

I usually rely on a few key blogs (like this one) to get some "premade" deal scenarios, but I would like to do my own. What is the easiets way to figure a scenario out to get the most bang without using too much of your own bucks!?

With cvs i usually look through the ad. see what is on sale with extrabucks. usually i have leftover extra bucks from previous week. Go through my coupon binder to see if i have any coupons for the extra buck items, then add up totals minus manfacturer coupons and extra bucks and roll them. So id do another transaction. with items with extrabucks sometimes sale items with coupons in their if i have enough extra bucks. I like to use the $4/$20 if i can but ive never paid over 10 bucks! So i end up seperating them into seperate transactions. Sure you may have to sit there for a min and have 3 seperate transactins but in the end your not paying alot out of pocket!
secndly see if that store has an online page that posts prices. Harriss teeter has an express lane i can look up item prices for stuff i have coupons for to figure out the best deals. Other then that i rely on this site and lookin at ads versus my coupons. And some of my friends have gotten into couponing and they will tell me about deals if they find good ones.

I use my sale ads from the sunday paper and one or two that are online for those ads are not in the paper..I see what I need or would like to have and try to keep in mind what I have coupons for, then I think if the deal on that product is good enough to use my coupons on and how close my coupons are to the expire date. I also keep in mind the coupons I have on hand that could get me really cheap or free items that maybe I dont need right now but can or will need next week or that I can make a christmas gift box with...

For walgreens I will look to see what the RR are on for that week and if I have coupons that will get em those products for free or really close to free,so Ican get my RR and the product for really cheap. Then I try to use those RR on other things that they may have on sale that week that could get me more RR and the product for free or close to it, but keep in mind if you use the RR on the same product you got it for buying you will not get another RR......

Its helps to have friend to that is "into" coupons that will help you scan for deals. I have one that lives in another state but we still help each other on finding deals, for walgreens, family dollar, freds, general dollar, and walmart are close to the same in every state..NOT the same but close to it..

oh and I shop at walmart alot because I can price match and do it all in one stop save on gas and time for me I have little ones to drag in otu of store with me so hitting 4 stores in one day is just to much work.
