I buy full inserts. I don't have to worry about what to do with 10 newspapers every week and it is way cheaper than buying the papers too. I always get previews so I know if I want them or not.
Every week at least one of the coupon inserts is missing. I am thinking of ordering from one of the clipping sites. What do you think? Good/Bad? What do you order? Whole/clipped/specific? What about Ebay?
Thanks in advance!!

Are you also one of those who doesn't get Red Plum anymore? It drove me crazy for a while until I finally did an online search and discovered that I wasn't getting ripped off. LOL, I thought someone was helping themselves to the RP inserts every week when it Valassis/Red Plum's doing all along.
Still can't figure out why they did it, however...:shrug7:Makes my job of saving money all the more difficult.
Are you aware that you can get a preview of the coupons expected to appear in your area? Usually by Wednesday the listings will be up for that Sunday's paper and then you can get an idea what will be there. I don't know what area you're in but if you just google "sunday coupon preview" or something similar you should be able to get something that will help. Or maybe someone from here will help you out by providing a preview site for your area. I have several bookmarked but not sure where you are.
As far as my coupons, I'm a moderate user with no room to stock up big-time like many on here so I just get 2 local papers delivered on Sunday and for the most part those inserts are the same. I cut out all the coupons, take what I need and send the preview to 3 friends who then tell me what they want from the preview. I send them their requests and divide the remainder up among 2 of those friends. Expired coupons go to the troops overseas.
Then if there are individual coupons I need I purchase them individually from one of 2 clipping services in my state - comparing prices on the 2. I don't purchase the whole insert because it makes postage much higher and I never use all the coupons in them anyway. I recently tried a different clipping service from this site but they took too long to deliver so I'm sticking with the 2 I know and have had no problem with.
I do also check Ebay if I don't find what I need on the clipping sites but I don't buy too often because they charge more and I don't need the high number they usually sell at once. I try to regularly check Ebay because you never know when you'll come across something really good.
Sometimes the clipping services will run specials that are helpful too. One I order from has a minimum order and one doesn't. Go to the resources tab at the top of the page here on HCW to find them. Always go through HCW to get to those sites - HCW benefits from this but I'm not sure how.

I've used a couple clipper sites. I generally just get my papers. I love the idea of getting whole inserts but for my area and the inserts we get it's usually cheaper or the same for me to get papers. In my papers I can get 2 ss and 2 rp for $3.00. So getting whole inserts only helps me on the weeks where we only get one insert.
I do use ebay or clippers for certain ones that I need lots of. We eat Yo plus yogurt like crazy around here so I usually have to get some extra ones.
As for getting a paper that is missing inserts.... Call your paper.... My local paper will refund the price of the paper if I send in my receipt and tell them my inserts were missing.

I love using Clipping Sites....it saves a bunch of time and energy...and I set up my wish-list as I find the sales and the matching coupons...and then-when there is a sale (especially love 50% ones) I buy a bunch of what I need. You do need to be carfeul and watch the expiration dates though and give yourself enough time to actually receive the coupons. My housekeeper use to deliver newspapers and we would literally spend hours going through all the left over newspapers...very time-consuming.
The following ones I have found to be very, very good; reliable; and most important---quick, quick, quick are:
