    HELP Hello

There is so much information. I'm not sure where to even begin. I already have several coupons. But where to start is the question.

Hi and welcome! First thing I'd do is to change the title of this post--maybe "Hello--where do I begin in couponing?" Or something that will draw attention to what you actually want to know--you may get more responses.

Then I'd say check out these links at the bottom left of each page:

    Hotcouponworld Community Rules
    Abbreviations, Acronyms & Coupon Terms
How to Use the Coupon Database

And read, read, read, read, read....all over this board. That is how I learned. There are posts about organizing coupons, from clipping or not, to filing, to taking them to the store, to trading...everything you will need to know to save hundreds each month on your groceries.

I'd also pick one grocery and one drug store and read and read and read the forum on them and start practicing.

And ASK lots of questions...everyone here is great at answering questions for beginners or old timers. We all still have questions, too.

    Happy saving!

Can you provide us with a list of your grocery stores?
    pharmacies?

What do you mean when you say you have several coupons?
    8 different coupons?
You need to match your coupons with a sale at one of your grocers or pharmacies.
And find out the coupon acceptance policy at each one. Look through your stores ads every week, either the ad you get in the mail or using each store's websites.
GET familiar with which items seem to be on sale often, and which ones you rarely see.
Ex: In my area I have 4 grocery chains. Almost every week one of them has Breyers Ice Cream on sale for B1G1 free.
So, I do not need to panic and buy 25 cartons.
If I am out, I may come on this site and place an (iso) thread and ask for maybe 6-8-10 coupons off Breyer's.

Just because you only have a few coupons and only get a few each Sunday does not mean you can not come here and trade for coupons you can use on the type items you buy every week. You got 1 lonely coupon for Red Baron's pizza? Eat alot of it? Come to HCW and ISO 10 $/1 Red Barons and stock up with them since it is an item you buy regularly.

I think, for me any way, it is less expensive to come here and trade for coupons you can use than to just buy 10 Sunday papers for $1.50 each. I've been doing this so long, I can look on the website's that tell me the coupons that will be out this Sunday. I can look down that list and know from experience what to trade for.

If you can list all the names of your grocer's and pharmacies and how many inserts you will get each week, and do you have a baby or a pet and can you use baby and pet coupons, and give alot more detail on what you have as far as coupons and stores, you'll easily get more info.
