you can give them/trade them/auction them, youd need to sign up to be a trader in training first unless you have a RAOK (random act of kindness) with them...look for that section and it explains it better. im sure you wont have trouble getting rid of them LOL!

it depends on how many you have and how many you have of each.
Most traders who might send you paypal handling fee, stamps, or concealed, may want at least 10 coupons to justify the postage they'll give you.

what the coupons are for, and the values, will determine what you can expect in return. Coupons can trade for anywhere from .01 each for commons, low values, or about to expire coupons, and up to .10 for very good coupons that people can double or triple.

As mentioned by the other member, ROAK is where you would just give them to someone, maybe you pay the postage or they pay the postage.

Some people will trade for potluck. Suppose you had 50 coupons, all mixed, pet, baby, food, non food, you might offer a 50 coupon potluck for .50 + postage or whatever. Some people only use certain category of coupons, like a 100 coupon potluck of "food" only coupons.
Potluck trades do not get you very much because you are sending them what you have and not specifically what they want. They are taking a chance.

If you get into trading, and use Paypal, well, you got to learn how to use that.

And as far as postage the least coupons I was able to send (rather I received with "postage due") was 20. They were heavy tear pad coupons and the one stamp was not enough. I've sent as many as 70 coupons for one stamp, a mix of all sizes and coupons from the inserts which are light and trimmed carefully with scissors. I had someone give me about 1000 greeting card envelopes. These are very light and make good envelopes for sending coupons. I used them when I had a good source for inserts. I used to send out maybe 10 trades a week. Source gone, so I am only an (iso) trader. Sad but true. All good things come to an end.

You could also just lay coupons on the shelves in stores. I fill an envelope full of soon to expire or "junk" coupons with a note to pass it on & HCWs website!

Do you have them up on your have list? I am looking for people to trade with. Here is my wish/have list.

I probably don't have half of my wish list posted yet

Do you have a local friend who might be interested in trading with you? I keep 4 envelopes going - 2 for the friends I trade with (I send them the list of coupons to appear in the paper on Sunday and they tell me which ones they want), 1 for "coupon showers" on another site (where you "shower" 1 person a month with coupons that are on their wish list) and 1 for expired coupons for the troops overseas. If you want to save those, the expireds, there is a place on here where you can find a base to send them to. They can use them up to 6 months after expiration date and they are very grateful to get them. If makes you feel good to do this small service for our military personnel and to mail them is no more than to mail in the US.

One more thing - some stores have a basket or something in the front of the store to leave extras or for you to choose coupons from.
