Re: Having a hard time couponing
Hang in there! It takes time.
Remember the 3 keys to couponing are.
1. Obtain multiple coupons
2. Match what is on sale at a good price with the coupons you have.
3. Purchase multiple items and stockpile.
When I first started my first deal with coupons was Betty Crocker brownie mix. The next week it was Kraft cheese. Each week I found one or two things I had coupons for making it a good deal and each week I got multiples of one or two things. Of course I had to still buy regular groceries to feed my family (dispite my childrens wishes they could not eat brownies and cheese 3 meals a day). As you go a few months you start to see deals on things your household uses more of and you can start to plan meals around items in your stockpile. After a few months you move through the sales cycles and can round out your stockpile.
As far as organization goes it is important but you need to find a system that makes sence to you. But just keep at it!
