To maximize your savings, you might try one of these options!
PIGGYBACKING COUPONS:
This is using two coupons to increase the amount saved on a deal.
For example, you have a coupon that states "Save $1.50 on milk WYB Keebler cookies". There is also a coupon available for $1 off those same Keebler cookies.
You can use both of these coupons on the purchase, because one is attached to the milk ($1.50) and the other to the cookies ($1.00).
STACKING COUPONS:
There are two different ways of stacking.
The first, and fraudulent way, is using more than one manufacturer's coupon on a single item. Any posts on HCW that suggest this will be deleted and infractions will be issued.
The second is using a store coupon and a manufacturer's coupon on a given item. This is the basis for many of the deals at places like CVS, Walgreen's and Target!
For example, you have a manufacturer's coupon for $4 off Venus Breeze razors. CVS mailed you a coupon for $4 off, as well. The razors retail for $7.99. You may use both the CVS coupon and the MFR coupon to get the razor free!

Work Hard at work worth doing.
I was wondering this too.. i would be very embarrased if it beeped and i had to try to explain this to the clerk... i had thought about asking the manager at my favorite store if this was ok to do... and maybe he would try it out for me...
Right now there are q's for chinet out there. and i have one for buy chinet get napkins free.. and they just happen to be on sale..LOL.. it would be great... But i just still don't know if they would think i am trying to pull something illegal...

I do this all the time. The milk part will beep because it's for the milk but if you have a good cashier they will see that and put it on thru. Knock on wood.
Another example is the Free Fruit 2o water wyb 2 100 calorie bars. Use coupons for the bars and the free part will beep for them to input the price of the water. Really like these kinds of deals!![]()

I find that these deals are less likely to beep if you get the cashier to scan the regular cents off coupon first and the WYB after that. For this reason, when I stack my coupons to give to the cashier, I put all the cents-off coupons first and put the WYB's and BOGO's on the bottom of the stack.
I also find that when combining a store coupon with a manufacturer's coupon, it's less likely to beep if the manufacturer's coupon is scanned first, before the store coupon.
So when I arrange my stack, I put manufacturer's cents-off coupons first, then store coupons, then WYB's and BOGO's on the bottom. Assuming that the cashier scans the coupons in the order I've presented them, this results in the fewest problems.
What if there's a (store) free wyb in the deal? Example: the store offers free lysol wipes wyb lysol wipes, you also have a coupon for the same. Do you get 2 free canisters? If I also have a $1 off coupon I'll be able to use that as well?
Thisi s a definite YMMV - some of my stores I get both free, others I have to have 3 items, pay for 1, get 2 free; and then there is 1 store that insists I have 4 items, buy 1, get 1 free store offer--buy 1 get 1 free coupon offer.
this is a case where it is important to find out your particular store's policies AND more important to find out how the individual cashiers will put it through. At one of my stores that generally lets me combine and get both items for free, there's 1 of 4 head cashiers who insists I have to have 3 items and will not budge no matter that the manager will override her (guess that's cuz there's 1 of 4 AMs who sides with her). I just have to pick my time to shop.
Good luck with this one.

This is definitely a YMMV.
Coding wise, it would be off the cookies (since milk is generic, and therefore no real coupon attached to it). So a real $ off cookies would beep (or the other one would beep).
Legitimately, I dunno. Does the "$ off Milk WYB cookies" apply to just the milk, or the cookies also, since you need both to complete the transaction? I'd tend towards this personally. It's similar to the $ off a free item when the free item was the result of a coupon debate.
Now, if one of them was a store coupon, that's completely different, but we all know that.

I have a very nice piggy back the other day
free earthgrain bread wyb 2 lbs produce
free bananas wyb Keebler nilla wafers
$1/2 keebler cookies
$1 off milk wyb keebler cookies
ended up spending less than $3 for 2 packs of cookies, 2 lbs bananas, 1 loaf good bread and 1 gallon of milk
For example, you have a coupon that states "Save $1.50 on milk WYB Keebler cookies". There is also a coupon available for $1 off those same Keebler cookies.
In my opinion this shouldn't work, but a coupon for milk would be okay. My thinking is that it has to do with who's reimbursing the store for the coupons. So although the wording states that the discount is on the milk, it is infact Keebler who is fronting that coupon not the milk producer.
But then if you do it the "right" way, you'd probably end up with people arguing with you for trying to use two coupons on the milk.
Now if the cookie company is doing this in conjunction with the National Dairy Board and they're splitting the cost of the promo, then I don't know what to tell ya. *shrug*
