Here's my brag but it's mostly due to awesome Safeway deals with a couple coupon combos:

10 Nabisco Snak-Paks
6 cans Rosaria refried beans (I loved the flavored ones)
4 containers of Del Monte Fruit Naturals
2 8-cup bags of Lucerne Shredded Mexican Style Cheese
4 cans Campbell's Select Harvest Coup
2 boxes of Pop Secret Popcorn
5 pounds ground beef
1 4-pack of 60watt bulbs (my only non-sale purchase because a bulb burned out in the bedroom last night)
2 gallons Lucerne milk

Cost before coupons and Safeway club card was $103.66 but OOP was $43.60. Best deals were paying $.25 for a Del Monte Fruit Cup that is normally priced at $1.99 and paying $.505 for a $2.99 can of soup. And I used the $10 off when you buy $50 coupon.

This is pretty cool to be telling about a brag and not reading about one.....
I am so excited, I can't go to sleep, so here it goes.

Before I checked out, I asked if we had the Coupon Scanner that everyone talks about and yes they did. So I went to scan my card and "bam" $10/$30 purchase.
Whoo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew I would spend that much and I already had a $10.00 ECB.

Here is what I bought:

2 Colgates
Gillette Fusion
Revlon Make-up
Maybellene Dream Mousse
CVS Cotton Rounds

Total before coupons was $40.50
Coupons totaling $9.50
$10.00 ECB
$10.00 Coupon from scanner

Total OOP = $12.64 and left the building with $19.00 ECB's.

hi all!!!

im super excited. i just got done with my first trip at wags. i got so much stuff and saved over 30 bucks. since i didnt have any RR to begin with this was all done with tips that i got on this website with using manufacturers coupons and walgreens coupons. i also came out with 15 RR that I plan to use soon. my fav part was buying colgate and i have a 2.50 coupon and a 1.50 coupon so i ended up paying only 30 something cents for toothpaste.
i wanted to thank everyone for your help and answering my questions! :)

Hello Everyone! I am new here..been lurking!
I have been using coupons for a while but never really got the max out of them!
For the past few weeks..after I have found this site...LOVE IT...I have learned SOOO much and have had my first biggest score...
I had a 5.00 Register Receipt (RR) Is this correct?
So...I went to WG today for soda. I got 3-12 packs of Pepsi for 11.00..used my RR for 5.00 so it was 6.77 in cash out of pocket. I got 3.00 back in RR making my soda approx. 1.25 each!
YAY!
I was so excited.
I am so glad to have found this site!

Hi I am new here.

I saved close to 35.00 at target this past weekend. WooHoo!!!

I have a question for yall. Do you only buy what you need, or do you buy things just because you have a coupon for it?

I just started too- if the item is something I KNOW will be used and it's a great deal & I have a coupon, then I will buy it... example.. with 2 teenaged daughters we go through shower gel/soap & shampoo stuff like water... so I will definitely buy those types of things....yesterday I got oil of olay shower gel for about $1.50 after the store mark down and my coupons- saved almost $3.00 for each. :)

I just started...first thing i got was during last weeks superfresh triple coupons. Healthy Cuts (or something similar) lunch meats. 3.50 for half a pound. Scored a few 75 cents coupons from my sister and mother and got them 1.25 each.

Now I'm off to walgreens - Red Baron 12 inch pizzas are 2 for 5 dollars + a coupon for $1 on 2...making 12 inch pies for 2 bucks each...friggin schweet!!!

HAPPY DANCE Re: Newbies ~ Post Your 1st Brag

I know that this is a minor victory compared to others but I had to brag on it. This was my first time using coupons at Walgreens and I felt like I was stealing!!!! I had 3 coupons for Colgate toothpaste (I had two seperate $1.00 off coupons and a 75cents off coupon) and I bought the
Colgate that was on sale for 99cents!!!
I only spent 24cents plus tax for 3 tubes of toothpaste!!! I kept thinking the cashier was going to stop me and say something.
I just wanted to say thank you for this website!!
