Well, it's not exactly a haul, but I just got the Crest Once weekly polish...free after coupon, and two bags of Purina Cat food for .33 each after $4.00 coupons. I tried to get the Kashi free box, but the ones we like our Walmart doesn't carry :(

I just started using coupons seriously. Went to Giant this weekend and saved $48 off my original total of $106 with the sales and coupons and combining sales and coupons. I only bought 1 thing at full price.

Hi there, this is my first ever post here but Ive been reading a bit.

Yesterday was my first coupon purchase other than a few cents off here and there at the super market.

I got the Throat Coolers at CVS with the B1B1F coupon and got ECBs back. I also had $1.50 ECBs that I used for the purchase. So I paid $4, got two boxes of Throat Coolers and $9.98 back in ECBs!

The best part is that my kids are both sick right now and are loving the Throat Coolers!

*bouncy* Brand new to this site & finally getting serious about coupons thanks to my friend (who coincidentally led me to this site...)! I started seriously couponing on Wednesday & since then I have gotten the following:

1 Bottle of Powerade $1 - $.40 (doubled to .80) = $.20
1 Harvest Oatmeal $2.50 - $1 (doubled to $2) = $.50
1 bag Green Giant Steamers Mixed Veggies $2 - $1 (doubled to $2) = FREE!
2 Reeces Whipped candy bars @ $.89 - $1 (doubled to $2) = FREE!
10 SoyJoy bars for $5 - $5rebate - $3 coupon = -$3.00 back :)
1 SoftSoap sale coupon for $.99 each - $.35 coupon - $.61

I am still so giddy about these purchases!:) YAY!! Now I just have to learn the correct terms to post, HAHAHA!!!

Byeeeee

xo.car.

Thumbs Up Re: Newbies ~ Post Your 1st Brag

Yesteday I went to walmart and they had the steamfresh veggies (which my boys just love) on sale for $1.00 I had 30 coupons which were expiriring that day (thanks goodness for 2 freezers in the garage) That made the veggies free. I also pricematched cereal from our super 1 kellogg cereal any kind for 1.49 so I got 20 boxes. hamburger helper was also on sale at our super 1 for .96 so with a coupon 3/1$ so they were around .66 and I picked up 12. So I got

20 boxes of of the boys fav cereal with $1/1 @.49 each
30 bags of veggies $1/1=free
12 boxes of hamburger helper 13= about .66
1 dr pepper (need to kick that habit) at 1.49

total was $64 and some change
oop $24 and some change
I was so excited and so was the lady behind me who will now become a coupon addict as well lol.

Newbies ~ Post Your 1st Brag-1st-deal.jpg

I should be doing work, but I'm so excited I had to post!

CVS trips tonight, two stores:

Store 1:

Pop up tape refill (I have yet to find a dispenser), clearance .19
Febreeze candle, clearance .79 x 5
Chocolate candy, clearance .03 x 3
CVS trail mix, 4.99

Used $3 CVS brand coupon
Used $3 ECBs

OOP: $3.22

Store 2:

Reese nutcracker guy (mini PB cups inside), clearance .09
Glade oil warmers, clearance .38 x 2
Coca-cola bottle opener (mixed in w/Christmas stuff), clearance .39 x 2
Tissue paper, clearance .18 x 2
Hallmark Christmas cards, clearance .99
Essence of beauty eye mask, 2.99
Essence of beauty nail brush, .99 (BO CVS product, GO 50% off)

Used $3 CVS brand coupon
Used $3.50 ECBs

OOP: .46!!!!

Both stores were out of Soy Joys, and I didn't get any ECBs back, but I'm not complaining!

The cashiers were so nice, and one told me when they restock the shelves!!

THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR ALL YOUR HELP AND TIPS!!!

I just used my ECB's and the hidden Glade deal to get 6 tubes of the eye ointment I use for my son for a total of less than $4 OOP!

They usually cost me $11 each!

I bought:
9 of the Glade .99 get back 2 ecb warmers (what on earth should I do with them?? :))
Gave 3 coupons for $2 off, paid $3 and tax OOP, got back $16 ecb-should've been $18, but the manager was giving me troubles about the internet printables so I decided to cut my "loss" of 2 ECB to not make him mad and keep my $6 in coupon savings.

Used 3 $3/2 Refresh coupons from the paper
Used the $19.98 in throat cooler ECBs that I got last week with $9 in previous ECBs b/c I had the BOGO coupon.
Used $3 ECB from the free thermacare around christmas
Used the $16 ECB from the Glade

Paid only change.

So I paid the $3.XX from the Glade, and the under $1 from the actual eye ointment purchase. I am THRILLED!

I did give up wuite a few ECBs but I still have $6 to roll so I'll rebuild my stash over the next week-but this was SUCH a great deal for me, because I MUST buy this every few weeks or so for $11 otherwise!

Went to Bloom this weekend because they had triple coupons. Out of pocket was only $13ish. It would have been $5 less but I couldn't pass up the 3 pounds of strawberries for $5! Gave them $10.55 in coupons so that saved me $31.65. Many things were just a few cents and I got free toothpaste! WOOOHOOO! Still not sure how to figure out total savings because the receipt says I saved $51.00. I'm so excited to have found this website...Went to CVS for those throat coolers but they were out of stock. Got Christmas Hershey's kisses for 0.29 a bag. DH is thinking I'm nuts but this is so much fun!
