HAPPY DANCE Re: Newbies ~ Post Your 1st Brag

I just got back from Walgreens and while I know it isn't much, I'm really proud of my first real couponing deal! They had Progresso soup on sale for 99 cents each (normally between 2.89 and 3.19 per can) and I had coupons for $1.10 of each as well as several for $2.00/4. The cashier got cranky and called a manager twice because he didn't think I could use manufactorer coupons with a store coupon and they wouldn't let me use the $1.10 ones. There was a limit of 3 cans but I talked them into letting me get 8. So, I got 8 cans of soup (which is my favorite and 0 points on weight watchers, by the way) for 49 cents each for a total of under 4.00 with tax! Woohoo!! I may send DH back this afternoon to get 8 more cans! Even my coupon doubting hubbie was happy with this one!!

I love Walgreens! I went late last night when it was empty and the young girl didn't care what coupons I used. I had the $1.10 off Progresso and the .75 off any Colgate. She took the man. coupons off first then the Walgreens so I got the overage. Got 6 cans of soup and 1 toothpaste for 5 CENTS!! DH will not be making any more remarks about my coupons.

Christmas Re: Newbies ~ Post Your 1st Brag

My 1st real savings was at Walgreens. I purchased:

3 colgates $2.49 - $4.50 WAGC = $.99 - 3 MQ for $1.50 that were reduced to $.99 each because Walgreen does not do overage = FREE

4 Progressos $.99 each = 3.96 - $1/2 and $.50/2 MQ = $2.46 (ad said limit 3 but she let me do 4)

2 4pk Cottonelle double roll tissue $3.79 = $7.58 - $3.60 - 2/$.50 MQ = $2.97

I used a $5.00 RR

OOP $.03

My best trip to CVS so far.
Two trips to two different stores in the same day.

Spent $7.06 OOP

Started with $20 ECB left over from Black Friday.

Got:
Russell Stover Candy $4.99 - $1.00 coupon
Listerine Mouthwash $2.99 - $1.00 CVS coupon
2 Crest mouthwash $2.99 - $0.75 coupon
3 Listerine Mouthwash $2.99 - $1.00 CVS coupon
Sally Hassen finger nail polish $5.99 -$1.00 coupon from Kmart beauty book
Excedrin Tension Headache 20 ct. $3.99
4 Johnson and Johnson First Aid Kit trial size $.99 - $1.00 CVS coupon
2 Crest Pro Health toothpaste $2.99 - $1.00 coupon
2 Excedrin Tension Headache 20 ct. $3.99 Box. Should have had $2/1 IP but printer not working at home.

ECB at end $25.95. Used 2 cards.
Not the best but it made my day!

Mine is not as good as some of the ones I have been readin today but I am very proud of my savings.

I went to Safeway for the pepsi deal where you buy 2 and get 3 free with their coupon. Plus I had the IP coupon for $1/1.

While there I saw this coupon for $2.00 of entire purchase if you buy 3 cards. Plus a free plush toy with 3 cards. ANd I have three birthdays coming up next month and usally I make my cards but right now living out of boxes in in-laws so i figure store bought is better than nothing. SO I bought 3@ .99. Meaning I only paid for 1 card

My total came to 18.xx which sounded wrong to me. So I stopped before we left the store and saw the cashier hadn't wrong up my coupon for buy 2 get 3 free. So dh and I went to customer service and got the 6.00 back and so total oop = 12.xx

So I just found this website today, and after finding some pretty good printable coupons that expire tomorrow, I took a trip to walmart. Im so proud of myself!!

6.4 oz Colgate Toothpaste @ $1.97 - $1.50 = 0.47 per tube ( i bought 4)

Ouchless multi-colored hair ties @ $2.12 - $2.00 = 0.12 per pack (i bought 6)

My total was $2.60!! I am sooo proud of myself lol Hopefully I am on the right track with this. Can't wait to see what other deals I can get

I just went to Fareway where they are having a big sale on Kellogg's cereal. A lot of them were on sale and what wasn't on a specific sale was $1 off across the board.

Crispex 12 ounce box--normally $2.99, marked down to 3 for $5 and I had a $1 off coupon, so I paid $0.67.

Special K 12 ounce box--normally $3.89, marked down to 5 for $10, with my $1 off coupon I paid $1 for one box.

All-Bran 13.2 ounce box--normally $3.89, fell under the $1 off all regular-priced cereals sale, plus my $1 off coupon made it $1.89.

Frosted Flakes 17 ounce box--normall $3.99, marked down to 5 for $10, plus my $1 off coupon, I paid $1 for one box.

Each coupon was for specific Kelloggs cereals. So in total I paid $4.56 for four boxes of Kelloggs cereal that would normally be $14.56! I can't even buy the bagged stuff (which I often do) for that price.

Re: Newbies ~ Post Your 1st Brag

I'll make this short and sweet:

I had a rain check for Pantene at Waldbaum's from last week. It said Limit 2 at $2.16 each. It didn't specify size.

I took the 2 biggest and the cashier honored the rain check. Then, I busted out my $2.00 off 1 Pantene product coupons. I handed her both of them, they scanned- no problem!

Final OOP: $0.32!!!!!!!!
