We live overseas and I was helping put together packages for our deployed sailors.....I had a lot of $1.00 off and a lot of buy one get one free coupons. We got body wash, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, candy, razors, deodorant, chapstick, qtips, pocket kleenex for 40 boxes for a grand total of $110.00. The original bill was almost $300.00

My first Publix brag!

I hardly ever shop at Publix because they are expensive - I didn't know about the 1 cent item and using coupons with sales. So tonight I went to Pubix, bought $111.01 worth of groceries for $59.59. I got most of the B1G1 with some coupons. And I bought a greenbag - I had no idea they were so large! Savings and I'm on my way to going green! And I got 2 rainchecks - never bothered with them before.

Next up, CVS on Dec 21st!

So I emailed glade about getting expired coupons and they sent me 3 free product coupons (good for any product up to $3.50) And I combined that for the $5 off five johnson and johnson products coupon at Publix. so my total went like this

1 Scrubbing bubbles gel toilet stamper - $3.99
1 Glade sented oil candle warmer - $5.99
3 Glade sented oil candle refils - $10.47
= $20.45
- $5.00 johnson product coupon
- $10.50 free glade product coupons
- $2.50 glade candle warmer coupon (redplum)
- $1.00 glade candle warmer coupon (in booklet sent with free product coupons)
- $1.00 scrubbing bubble toilet cleaner (same booklet)

total after coupons and added tax = $1.73!
I saved $20.00!

Default I'm lovin it

I have recently started couponing and I am loving it. I only clip what I will use and only buy if it is on sale or too good to pass up. I have even bought coupons for a dollar off ebay. Today, I had 21 coupons that were to expire today for Del Monte Fruit Naturals. Also, I had a coupon to buy 2 get a $1 off. So I went to the grocery store (which doubles coupons up to $1) to check them out. Here was the outcome:

Regular price $1.59 23 x $1.59 = $36.57
Minus sale discount $.59 23 x $.59 = $13.57
Minus 21 $.55 coupons 21 x $.55 = $11.55
Minus 21 double discount 21 x $.45 = $9.45
Minus $1.00 coupon 1 x $1 = $1.00

Total due: $1.00 I got 23 Del Monte Fruit Naturals for a dollar. I love couponing. To me, it's like playing the lottery, except I always win.

This is just one example. Last week I paid .$60 for 12 packs of gum, which should have cost $14.28.

well I haven't made any good deals couponing yet, (headed out tomorrow), but I did get some good deals with my items to organize with!!

binder .49 (it's a plain 2", it will work till I find what I do want)
pack of photo sheets .99
pack of baseball card sheets FREE ( used my Office Depot Rewards)
plastic folder with 6 individual files to sort my SS, PG & RP 1.99

Then DH & I both bought Sunday papers (we didn't know the other did) 4.00

so less than $10 & I'm ready to head out the door. I am going to try to get the Olay Reginerist Deal x3 at WAG...

Well thanks to this site and the cereal sale at
Safeway~buy 5 save $5.00. I saved $181.50

I bought 55 boxes of cereal (stockpiled and I have 6 kids) for a whopping $20.26
They were only .29 ~ .49 PER BOX! I will NEVER buy cereal at full price again! At first I felt weird about buying so much cereal but WOW the savings who cares how you look:dance3:

I also bought Airwick Lumin'air at Target
3@ 4.99 - 3 5.00 off Q
They were Free ~ Wheeee

Thanks to all the great advice offered by the warm and friendly people here on HCW I will hopefully be making more killer deals in the years to come.

Still getting the hang of this but making progress.
I got two packages of Johnsonville sausage links, usually $3.99 each.
They were BOGO and I had a get $1 off two coupon, so it came to $1.50 each. So from $8 to $3. Not bad.
Fresh Express salad bags were BOGO and I had 2 $.55 coupons So 3.69 each regular price turned into $1.29 each.
