| Re: Newbies ~ Post Your 1st Brag I got 2 $10/$20 coupons for the opening of a new CVS and I have been wanting to jump into CVS since they took over Longs in my area. (always read about the great deals people were getting but never had any stores here before.)
So, yesterday I got:
Large size Pantene conditioner $4.99
2 Johnson and Johnson travel kits $1.98
Blink dry eye $7.99
4 candy bars $2.67
Paintbrushes $.39
Milk $2.79
Total OOP was 4.54 (I could have done a little better if I had gotten fewer fillers but that's what I get for bringing DD with me)
I got back $15 ECB! A nice start, I think, to my ECB bank, even though there were not really many great deals to be had, with the exception of the Blink (free after ECB and a $3 off coupon). I was also lucky to receive a $2 free ECB for no apparent reason.
When I checked out and the register spit out about 4 feet in ECB's I was so happy! It was like I hit the jackpot! The cashier seemed impressed too! |

| Re: Newbies ~ Post Your 1st Brag I decided when I started this couponing that I would purchase 2 or 3 stockpile items each week to build a good stockpile. Yesterday I went to Kroger and purchased $72.00 worth of items, and my OOP was.............
$23.00
My two stockpile items purchased were Toaster Strudels which I paid around $1.10 for each with my IP, and MQ's. (regular price $2.29 each)
and Grands biscuts which I paid $.25 each. I used MQ's and IP for both items.
I also bought 2 boxes of Kashi cereal for $.75 per box, Totino's Pizzas for $.80 each, and 24 roll pack of Charmin toilet paper for $3.48
It was a GOOD day!
I am already planning my grocery trip this week. Stockpile items for next week will be, Purex Laundry detergent, Purex softener, Reeses Peanut butter cups, and Minute Maid Lemonade. My stockpile will be increasing each week.

Reason: Wanted to place the correct coupon amount for each candle coupon
