I've been trying to find good deals, but its hard because I live in a rural area with very few stores to choose from.

I went to Safeway and got 5 bottles of V Fusion juice, 5 boxes of cake and brownie mixes, 4 candy bars, 2 lbs of asparagus, 1 sm container of blackberries and 2 containers of raspberries - all for $12.50 thanks to sales and coupons. Normally V Fusion is like $4 each.

At Freddy's the other day I got 3 boxes of various flavors of Frosted Mini Wheats for .50 each and another 5 for $1.50 each. They had an in-ad coupon making them 2 for $3 (maximum of 8) and I had 3 coupons for $1 off.

Ok, so here is my first brag! I'm still a total newbie, I've been learning the coupon ropes since January, but have only recently started seeing big savings. Tonight I made a Target run and bought the following:

5 boxes Ritz Crackers
8 bottles Kraft Salad Dressing
2 bottles Mayo
5 bottles BBQ Sauce
2 bottles Baby Body Wash
1 bottle A1 Steak Sauce
5 Hershey's Bliss Chocolate Bars

The total before coupons was $53.46
The total after coupons.....$9.28
That's a savings of ~83%

I just did my first couponing shopping trip!! Went to foodlion. Between the few coupons that I had and my MVP card, I spent $233 and saved $110!

YAY! I'm addicted!! haha

The Joint jucie was on sale at Redners for 2/4.00 adn I had a 2.00 off any 4 pack!
the tobasco was 1.49, I had a coupon for 0.75 that doubled!
and the Lawrys was on sale 10/10.00! and i had a 0.50 cent that DOUBLED!!
so i paid NOTHING FOR THIS!!

Hi All! This is my first post to the group so I hope I do this right. I just started using coupons a couple of weeks ago and for the past 2 week, by using coupons & store sales, I have been able to save around $140.00! Usually we spend around $225 to $250 and I have spent only $150 to $175 a week for the past 2 weeks!

Now mind you, I am stocking up on sale items right now so hopefully in a few weeks I will be stocked on the staples and the amount I spend should drop further! The money I save is being put up to buy a freezer!

Did my first shopping trip at Publix on Tuesday! Got 83 dollars worth of groceries for 30 dollars! i am so happy! Most def hooked!

I ended up at Walgreens today, and in essence, they paid me $.62 to buy three Dry Ideas and a St. Ives body wash. I'm tickled! My trip to Meijer was good (saved $68 and started my stockpile.) It's my goal to save $100 on groceries. Now that I've been "bitten" by the bug, I'm THERE!

i got the sunglasses deal at cvs last week -- spent $2, got $10 eb!

today i bought:
2 big bottles of tresemme
2 thermacares
tylenol
waterbabies sunscreen
mustard
bbq sauce
2 12 packs of toilet paper

and i spent $1.53!

so excited!

I had a first today...as did my cashier at wags... $0 oop!!!!!!!!! whoo hooo.

purchased: aquafresh $3, 4 boxes of royal pudding 4/$1
used: $1 IP aquafresh, $3 RR from st ives, 4/$1 wags Q
$0 oop!!!!

Cashier was a young kid and said - wow, I've never seen that before. I said me neither! but I hope to do it again! Thanks to HCW! Never would have figured this addiction out by myself! lovin' it.
