Well here goes - my official first (sort of) brag. I wouldn't say that I am new to couponing, I just kind of slowly veered away from it and have just recently gotten back in the game.
Walmart:
6 tubes of Crest toothpaste -

Both the cashier and the customer behind me were in awe - they just couldn't believe it!!!!
Rite Aid:
8 lb bag IAMS dog food - 8.99 - on sale for 5.99
Total OOP = .99
(Also got a rain check for paper plates that I have a great coupon for)
Shop Rite:
4 Super Pretzels - 1.84 (1/2 sales price each)
Have 4 .75 off coupons which will be doubled:
Total OOP before taxes will be: 1.36
(Because of the sale they were totally out of the pretzels, but got a rain check for 4 and the coupons are still good for a while. Just need to get back there to pick them up)
Walgreens: 4 Dove beauty bars - with sales and coupon 1.19 each for 2 and 2
(the really cool thing with this was I wanted to buy four of the single bars to get the highest RR offered, but they didn't have any. The employee who was helping me on the floor told me he would ring me up and take care of it. So he had me get two of the 2 pack soaps and he rung them up as 4 separate bars of soap)
2 Dove Deodorant - .46 each (after sales and coupons)
2 Dove conditioners - 1.59 (with coupons and rebate of full price of 1)
Pantene Shampoo & Conditioner - FC 4.00 (includes $3.00 walgreens rebate and another $ 1.00 off coupon) PLUS another FREE hairspray.
Dental Floss, Listerine & 2 pack toothbrushes = $ 2 MONEY MAKER - (Sale 3/9 - 5.00 coupon + $6 in RR)
Glade Motion "Sprayer" = 1.99 (Originally $ 9.99 - $4 Walgreens coupon - 4 MFG Coupon)
Irish Spring 8 PK - 4.99 (just had a $ 1 coupon - but hubby needed it)
Colgate toothpaste = 1.00 (-2.49 coupon)
Total Bill: 75.69
Total Savings: 42.90
Total OOP: 32.79
Total RR and Rebates: 19.00
Second Walmart trip: Went back because I thought that Crystal Light was on sale, but it wasn't at the store I went to.
Bought 4 Crystal Lights (they were bigger then what is sold in my grocery store and the math worked out enough that it was still worth it, as DH drinks it daily)
Garnier Shampoo and Conditioner - 5.00 for both (purchased, as it was the cheapest price I could find to submit for a

towel offer)
Sale 2.99 each = 11.96
Coupons = $2.00 total
TOOP = 14.96
Not sooo great, but something we use nonetheless and cheaper then if I bought it at the supermarket.
Now I just have to figure out how to get these huge savings that you all seem to get when doing your main household shopping at the grocery stores.
On a side note I recently scored some great stuff

from FreeCycle:
A white three shelf bookcase (in near perfect condition)
A 19" color TV (which I really needed, as my color tube was on the fritz - in great condition - works perfectly)
A 4 drawer metal filing cabinet in very good condition
A metal stake with lead for my new Jack Russell puppy (was brand new - the plastic piece was still at the bottom of the spike as a precaution)

Lovin FreeCycle
