Not sure I'm following correctly?? If you have 4 items, and your coupon is .30/1, then you can use 1 coupon per item, in this case 4. Or if the coupon is .60/2, you can use 2 coupons since each coupon is off 2 items. You cannot buy 1 item and use 4 .30/1 coupons. Or you have a $1 coupon from the newspaper insert and you find a .50 tearpad coupon. They are both manufacturer coupons no matter the source.
The only time you can use 2 alike coupons is if 1 is a manf coupon combined with a store coupon. For instance, if you shop at CVS, and you have a $1 manf coupon for xyz toothpaste and a coupon prints on your receipt for $1 off xyz toothpaste, then you can use them together for a total of $2 off xyz.
HTH! And if you have any other questions...ask away!
