Default Newbie - More than one coupon per item???

I have a question about coupons - Can you use more than one coupon for the same thing as long as it is not a duplicate??

Not sure I'm following correctly?? If you have 4 items, and your coupon is .30/1, then you can use 1 coupon per item, in this case 4. Or if the coupon is .60/2, you can use 2 coupons since each coupon is off 2 items. You cannot buy 1 item and use 4 .30/1 coupons. Or you have a $1 coupon from the newspaper insert and you find a .50 tearpad coupon. They are both manufacturer coupons no matter the source.

The only time you can use 2 alike coupons is if 1 is a manf coupon combined with a store coupon. For instance, if you shop at CVS, and you have a $1 manf coupon for xyz toothpaste and a coupon prints on your receipt for $1 off xyz toothpaste, then you can use them together for a total of $2 off xyz.

HTH! And if you have any other questions...ask away!

if you are asking can you get one bag of cat food and use one manufacturer coupon for $2 and another for $1 no you cant.. you can use a store coupon and a manufacturer coupon at the same time if the store allows you to..I know my family dollar will only let you use one of the two type of coupons per item.

so most of the time its one item and one coupon..

There are two kinds of coupons. Store and manufacturer. At most stores, you can combine a store coupon and a manf. coupon together. For example, in this week's Safeway store ad there was a store coupon for King Hawaiian rolls 2 packs for $3. I also had a manf. coupon for $1 off 2 packs of King Hawaiian rolls. I was able to use the two together and pay $2 for 2 packs of rolls (normally over $5 for 2).

You cannot, however use 2 store coupons together or 2 manf. coupons together. Look at the coupons closely, you'll see where it says manufacturer on the coupon or says "store" or has the store name like "Safeway".
