QUESTION Can someone please explain "piggybacking" coupons

    Howdy

I am trying to figure out the concept of "stacking" and how to do it right. I've never tried to use more than 1 at a time - but from what I understand, on things like BOGO coupons, something is a "qualifier" in which you can use another coupon?

    Can someone please explain?

OOPSIE - the term I was looking for is "piggybacking" ... NOT "stacking" - I understand the difference now, just didn't know the terms :)

A prime example is using coupons from multiple sources.

At SuperFresh, there is the monthly Easy Solutions magazine, which this month has over $30 in coupon savings. They also published a Cold and Flu coupon booklet which had another $30 in money savings coupons expiring Dec 31, 2009.

A few weeks ago, I used several coupons together, the perfect storm to a buy 2 Ragu's with a $1 off coupon plus one I found in their magazine for 50 cents, which I used, as well as the super doubler coupon in the ad, offered that week., So I got 2.50 off coupon savings, on two jars that retailed, 2 for $3, and after couponing, got 2 jars of Ragu sauce for 50 cents.

That's indeed the power of piggybacking coupons.
