In theory you should be able to do this. In practice it depends on whether or not your cashier will allow it. Most of the time in situations like this the coupons will scan with no problems but it depends on how they are coded.
Hi,
I have been using coupons for years but I have come across a new situaton and was wondering if someone can help. I would like to do this situation at a Cvs or Walgreens
I have 2 coupons for a free axe product (shampoo/conditioner). I also have a coupon for a free sports drink if I buy 2 axe products. Can I use all 3 at the same time and get 2 axe and a drink all for free? I think that I can, but I do not want to have any trouble at the register.
THANKS!!

I can't be done shopping, I still have coupons left!!!
If you're doing this at Walgreens you need to have more products than coupons. So, if you've got a total of 3 coupons and 3 items, you need one more item (it can be a .10 pencil just as long as there are more things than coupons).
Then, assuming the cashier and manager cooperate, it should go through. I think your chances of doing things like this are better when you have a more items to purchase. Then this sort of thing doesn't stand out and confuse a cashier that might say no, even though they should say yes.

No you don't...at Walgreens you have to have the SAME..or more if you want (but not necessary) number of items as number of q's.
yesterday I went to wags to make a purchase using manufacturer q's and rr's. I handed them the manuf q's first 3 which were .50 off each . subtotal $9.48 and the cashier said the reg wouldn't let me use the rr it just kept beeping the rr was $5 so the manager came over and said well it's because you still have to pay the tax. I know that but the tax was not $9. I think they just didn't want to take them. I was wondering if the q's make their numbers for the day be low that that's the reason they don't want to take them?
happy4kds--I think I may know what happened:
You had too many coupons vs. items to be able to use the RR. The thing with the RR's is that the number of manufacturer's coupons (and RR's are manuf. Q's) in the transaction can't exceed the number of items. It's in the fine print on the RR. So let's say you had three items that each had a manuf. coupon. You'd need to purchase one more item (called a filler) that would allow you to use the RR with that transaction too. Try to find something super cheap like a pencil, travel pack of tissues, something clearanced down to almost nothing. HTH!
You should be able to do it, but may end up having to explain it to the cashier. I think going to Wags or CVS is a good choice since they often are more coupon friendly and knowledgeable :)
okay, here is a really newbie question - if i have 2 coupons for $1/2 can I use both on the same 2 items - one on each of the 2?
