Understanding Rain Checks

Thanks for all of this helpful info. I never think to ask for a rain check. I just go without, or keep going back each day checking for the item to be restocked, and usually miss the sale.

Great info! I've never asked for a rain check. I just go back and check during the sale, usually to be disappointed when it's still out of stock. I'll have to brave up and get a rain check next time!

My first rain check was at walgreens when they had the 20 count finish tabs. Coupons had just come out with 2.25 off. Thier shelfs were empty when I went. I asked if there were any in back and they check. There were non in back so they offered the rain check. And because it was also a RR involved and the transaction at a later date would not provde the RR the rain check was issued with the sale price minus the R R. So the price I will be paying before coupon is 1.99. Hope I explained that well.

To add also on this thread thought. I never knew that rain checks could be used so wisley as you have explained it here. The benifits make couponing even better. Thanx so very, very much

I am new to your group but there is one thing that I know and works out really good Walgreens rainchecks never expire I have had some from 5-6 yrs ago! And they let me use them anytime and now that they know me if I have manfacture coupons they are usually really good about letting me get more than what the raincheck is for I get some really good deals hope this helps you Have a great day Ann hope to hear from some friends soon! How many rainchecks can you ask for at a time?

The Walgreens circular that ends this Saturday, advertises a sale for Reach toothbrushes and Snuggles softener. They were out of both products. Can we go up to CS and ask them for a raincheck on both items?

Same for CVS, they have those Pulsar Oral-B toothbrushes and the Crest Mouthwash on sale with ECB making them free with my coupons, but they are out of both products. Can we get them both at the same time? And can we get more than one of them if we go into the store to check on different days?
