Default What don't you pay for?

I'm pretty new, and at first, I thought $1 was a great price for toothpaste. I've already realized that is more than I should be paying--by $1! LOL!

So, to help newbies wait for good deals...

What items will you never pay for? -OR- What is your highest price that you will pay for something?

    For me:

I've already learned, as I said...toothpaste is free way too often for me to even think about paying for it again.

Other than that, I'm still learning.

FREE Re: What don't you pay for?

Free is always good, cereal is one that I will never pay full price again when I learned how to get it for $0.50 a box before, I would pay almost $4 to $5 for one box that is crazy now. Your right about toothpaste I never pay for that now. Can soup was my big free find this week I bought 100 cans, I may not find that deal again.

I don't think I have ever found coupons for Mac N cheese other than Free X when you buy 4 Kraft products...and they are always free items I don't want (I have hotdogs out the wazoo!).
My store typically runs a special on the KMC buy 2 get 3 free. I also see it bogo on occassion but the 5 for the price of 2 worked out to be $.33 each. I bought a lot the end of summer and my son is still working off it.

What kind of cereal do you get that cheap? My husband is very particular about brands. Can you find Oatmeal Crisp or Honey Nut Cheerios? He won't eat the generic.

in addition to the toothpaste, tampons, advil etc already mentioned:

poptarts, fruit snacks and other kiddie junk like that (if it is free we will have it for an occasional treat, but I'm not spending $ on it!)

microwave popcorn (I can get it for free about twice a year, and stock up)
    My wishlist. Thanks for looking!

Back to trading after a much-needed break!

    I NEVER buy generic...
Kelloggs, and GM cereals are what I tend to find really cheap. Last year I bought over 70 boxes of shredded Mini Wheat for free after first purchase, I got a catalina I was rolling, that same deal I also got Special K, Frosted Flakes, Rice Krispies plus something else the deal went for 3 weeks and it was sometime in March I think.

There is no room for brand loyality in my house...Well, I take that back, I can think of one thing Kraft Mac N cheese but other than that we are not. And even if you are Brand Loyal, you can still find coupons sometimes, the key is waiting until it is on sale and STOCKING up (like the 70 boxes of Shredded Miniwheat).
