I will not pay for junk food. I'll usually only buy it free or if I'm making some good overage.

Your right about toothpaste I never pay for that now. Can soup was my big free find this week I bought 100 cans, I may not find that deal again.
How do you get 100 coupons?

Many others like myself buy coupons either on ebay or from a coupon site. I have a fav. that I don't know if I can post. You can PM me and i will send you a link and referral. She gives 10% off for $25 orders. That seems like a lot but you get a boxful. I don't do it always, but once in a while to stock up when I know Kmart is having a super doubles, or for things I know will be dirt cheap or free.

One thing to everyone, the longer you do this, the more you will know what is a really good coupon or great deal. Then you go online and get more of it. I did that every time I saw the cottonelle 50c q, I would go online and buy 20 or 40 and stock up. Seems crazy but if I can pay 5 dollars for 40 q's then get it free, I saved 35 dollars.

Products also in my opinion seem to come in cylces. RIght now is the best time to stock up on crayons, glue sticks, folders, notebooks, binders, etc.... I really stock up our home office and for kids gifts. My fav. idea for now is to buy lots of the fun pencils, crayons, etc... construction paper, etc... and make craft boxes for all the birthday invites heading our way during school. They are super cheap b/c you get lots of stuff now. Also pounce after they are clearanced. I know I felt like I was stealing stuff last year. I had to stay out of the aisles b/c it got kinda out of hand. LOL

Now is also a great time for bandaids, ziploc/hefty bags/index cards, hand sanitizer if you use it, vitamin q's are out for the kids. etc.... You will get it. It just takes time. I even keep a notebook for each store b/c I get confused as to where something is onsale. So I use my great 10c notebooks .

Oh, I almost forgot, I won't pay for health/beatuty items. It has to be super cheap for paper towels. TP is no more than 50 c 4/pack but usually free. Paper plates I get with RR from Wags. Foil, ragu, prego, ronzoni pasta, oatmeal, cereal must be 50c a box, 1.00 if it is special kind only as a treat. Cat food is free at Kmart, cleaning products are usually free or less than 50c, milk-1.59 is my high price. Bread items I get marked down at krogers and freeze, meat- mark downs when possible,

I will say that we are changing our eating habits very slowly and trying to cut sugar, sodium and transfats. This may be a trick b/c I vow to not spend more money while saving on calories and finding better nutrituion.

    Good Luck!
