Reminder: What To Do With Expired Coupons? = Send To Military

Can anyone provide me with information on donating my exp coupons to the military?

I can help you!!! Follow the link in my signature to the expireds forum where we have a list of HCW Members who are stationed overseas. All you'll need to do is pick a name on the list and send them a pm, requesting their name and address, then just get them ready to mail and get them on their way.

It will cost the same amount of postage to mail over to them as it would if you were mailing within the U.S. The only difference is that if you have a large enough envelope or a box, you may need to fill out a customs form. Just doublecheck with your post office when you mail it out, to be sure.

I was wondering about this also. Is it only military that are stationed overseas that can use them , or can military families stationed here in the states use expired coupons also? I'm assuming it's only oversaes but I thought I would ask to be sure.

I am not really sure WHERE to place this but I have 2 FULL grocery bags of expired coupons and there has to be something I can do with them other than recycle them. Anyone know?

Give them away!
Some military families overseas can use them up until 6 months after the expiration.
Also, you can give a random act of kindness with them.
Check out the trading forum called "RAOK".

Follow the link in my siggy to find a list of HCW members who are stationed overseas. You can send a PM to one of them to get their name and address and mail them out to them. It'll cost the same to mail to a APO/FPO address as it would be to mail within the U.S. They do make a flat rate box especially for military addresses that you can fit ALOT of coupons in and mail for $10.95, and you'll need to fill out a customs form at the P.O.
