I'm sure this question has already been posted somewhere in this forum, but I don't have the time to read the whole thing. Where should I go to go dumpster diving? Everywhere I go they are inside of a locked gate or something like that. Are there certain places that usually have newspapers and that are not locked?

I went this morning. Did fairly well. Not many 7/5 papers though, so I'll go back again Thu or Fri and look for just those.

Don't know whether to cry because I'm jealous or be happy for you! LOL! Just curious how you got them all. We recently moved and I need to find some dumpsters around here. At my old house I would just look when I took the recycling and maybe get 5 packs at a time.

We have dumpsters marked for newspaper, usually only one is full enough to reach the piles. I reach in through the windows on the sides. I just keep an eye out for the colorful ad sections of the papers, grab the colors and go through them for an insert. If I pick up what looks to be a whole paper, I make sure it's a Sunday paper before flipping through it. You kinda get used to what you need to be looking for and the right things start to catch your eye. It especially helps that I get a free sunday paper delivered to my door so I can see what the current insert(s) look like and can easily pick it out when part of it is seen in the dumpster.

We have Charter cable/internet. They are partnered with the local paper (the gainesville times). Because we are a charter customer, they deliver a paper to us free every day.
