Globe Moving to Long Beach - Looking for guidance

    Hello!

I've been couponing for a couple years. I'm moving to Long Beach this weekend and looking for info and direction from any fellow couponers in the area.

I'll be living near Heartwell Park. Carson and Bellflower. I don't know the area at all and I'm a bit of a nervous driver, so I hope to find "my world" fairly close to home. Looking for suggestions. I've always lived in the land of no doubles, so I'm really hoping to find a store that doubles and hopefully without crazy limits and rules.

Any suggestions on which paper/s to buy?

Any stores to avoid or any that are very coupon-friendly? I've been a loyal Kroger shopper at one store in Las Vegas (current home) that has been great. I hope to find something like again.

In Vegas I shopped Wags, CVS, Smiths/Kroger, Albertsons, Vons, Target, Costco and Sams. Any other stores you'd recommend? I'm not a Wal Mart shopper unless heavily medicated.

I also tend to be a night time shopper, so a safe area is important too.

Thanks to anyone who can offer guidance!

I've moved now and am also hoping to find a the lowest priced organic foods. I only budget for a few items to be organic, but I'm hoping to find those at a discount. Any help?

I've been grocery shopping twice so far and am in shock at the prices. I really need to get the scoop on where to shop. I hope that I have chosen the wrong stores so far.

I backed off on my coupons while I was in the process of the move, but I will definitely need to get back in the swing of things with these prices.

Part of the plan for this move was for me to be able to stay home! I can't begin to describe what a HUGE gift that will be for me and my family!! I am 40 years old and I have worked full time plus since I was 14. Keeping my budget in check will allow me to continue to stay home, so it's very important that I set myself up well here.

Thanks in advance for any advice!
