Looking for couponers near Joplin

I have a friend I just did a web-chat coupon class with. I am trying to find someone near her that knows her stores and such. She is in the Joplin area about 20 miles from it. She wants to chat via email, she is just wary of meeting new people, but I have NO idea about the stores around her.

i live in Joplin MO .. i am fairly new to couponing but i might be able to answer some questions and would be happy to help ... :)

I live about 85 minutes from Joplin. There are not a lot of grocery stores in Joplin right now. The Walmart forum actually is going to be the only one that will probably be of any help. There is one remaining Walmart in Joplin after the tornado, and then the one in Webb City is not too far.

Once Dillons gets rebuilt from the tornado that Dillons forum will be extremely helpful. Dillons double's coupons .50 cents and less and bumps 55 cents to $1.00 and also takes expired up two 2 weeks.

There are DG and FD that are still standing in Joplin. Those have a little bit of food.

There is a food 4 less there, but I don't think the forum here, focuses on that region, but she could check it out.

The target in Joplin has little food but is excellent with the rest of the stuff. So that forum will be helpful minus the food.

There is a Price Cutter in Webb City but there isn't a forum for Price Cutter.

There is also one WAGS still in Joplin, the other 2 are being rebuilt. No CVS.

I have been able to find a few deals here and there, but really really miss the Dillons. I was looking to see if there was a couponing group or so that meets in Joplin. That would be very helpful as I am at a loss as well after the tornado.

I think what most people are doing is trying to price match what they can and go to the remaining walmart right now.

I just dont' know if any couponing groups is going on right now in Joplin..

As of September 1st the Chamber of Commerce does have Dillons slated as going to be rebuilt..so there is hope! Joplin desperately needs another grocery store!!!
