Re: from new castle pa!!!!!
i just started shopping at GE i shop at shop n save for the gas and the 10/10 deals i try to use the coupons at GE once i save 60 and another i save 40 i know its a savings and it brought both prices down to under 200 but i have 8 people at my house to feed. im doing really well when i find price match-up for the drug stores but i keep running out of food that's whats frustrating me about buying food with coupons.... that's why i wanted to find someone to help me with shopping and feeding my family of 8 especially now that summer is here and school is out. my husband watched extreme couponing once with me and now he thinks i need to that. i don't know how they do it.. lol thanks so much for replying and sorry if i ramble a lot lol have a great day and stay kool.... btw if you have a great deal i really appreciate it if you let me know i get fs on monday and need to go shopping again thanks

Re: from new castle pa!!!!!
Welcome, I am from SEPA So I can't help with being a buddy. As for the show it is very unrealistic. If the 40 & 60 is weekly trips we will use 40 for a small example. $40 a week x 52 weeks= $2080 a year Ask hubby what could you guys do with that extra $2000+ that you wouldn't of been able to do a year before coupons? The show if for entertainment & never claims any educational properties even though I will admit it is what got me back into it after many years.
Only tips I can offer is read the forums for the stores you shop & I also do web searches for *Store name* Match ups, or *store name* Previews. Just hang in there, the savings may seem low to some, but then look at a bigger time frame.

Re: from new castle pa!!!!!
Hello! I'm new to couponing too. Just started around Memorial Day. I'm from south of Pittsburgh and use the Pittsburgh Post Gazette for my inserts. I also shop Giant Eagle (only store nearby). I've found some good deals. Hope you will too. I am one of 7 kids so I know how much food it takes to feed the "army". My 3 kids eat us out of house and home. LOL. Good luck
