Globe Looking for advice from fellow Staten Islanders!

The coupon policies do not allow for much coupon stacking, etc at my local ShopRite. Anyone knowof a supermarket with amore favorable coupon policy in Staten Island NY?

Hi. I got the email you sent me through the board. My best suggestion is to check out the individual forums for the stores you have access to. Staten Island is a challenge but there are deals to be found.

I do not know of any stores on SI that allow stacking. You can combine sales with coupons and sometimes Catalina deals. They will promote a deal that says spend X and get a coupon for Y off your next order. Because Shoprite is family owned they are very strict about coupon usage and multiple orders.

Both Pathmark and Waldbaums also double up to $.99 every day. Limit for them (and Shoprite) is four like coupons per order. I believe King Kullen doubles dollars but the limits are huge and their regular prices even bigger. None of them allow stacking.

As I said, check out the individual forums for the stores you go to and read up on the rules, deals and suggestions. That will help you know what legitimate deals can be found.

    Good luck.
Me: I need penny and nickel stamps. USPS Employee: We don't have nickel stamps.
Me: OK well what do you have after a penny?
    USPS Employee: 2¢, 3¢, 4¢ and 5¢
Me: Fine. I will take the 5¢ ones.
