Where are our NY Shoppers?
I see forums for the various NY/NJ stores, but am not seeing much in the way of chatter on them.
I am in FL. but my family is in NY/NJ...primarily Long Island, and is a little difficult getting them started without input of this site that I rely on so much for my Publix shopping. (we have such smaller ads than you guys and no dbls!)
I am hoping if there is a good showing that perhaps we can find a mod to cover some of these stores????
Question: If you are in NY/NJ and the tri-state area:
1.Where are you?
2.Where do you shop?
My sisters are in Western Suffolk and shop at Waldbaums, Pathmark, King Kullen, and Stop & Shop.
TIA

Re: Where are our NY Shoppers?
I'm from queens and i shop in pathmark, waldbums and stop and shop. NYC seems to not be coupon friendly. stop and shop is the only chain I know of that doubles on a regular basis. Its not advertised but they double up to 99c on the first 4 of an item. limit 99 coupons per trip I believe.

Hi: I'm in Brooklyn and besides shop n stop, I don't know of any other supermarkets which double. I shop primarily in Pathmark.

Re: Where are our NY Shoppers?
I am in the Tristate area and I do Walmart, Price Chopper, ShopRite and Save A Lot when I remember it is there. Walmart with the exception of meat is where I get everything. Meat I do the meat packages at Price Chopper and will hit any of the other that are having a good sale to supplement what I want or need.

Re: Where are our NY Shoppers?
Upstate NY and no one here doubles. On occasion Price Chopper will allow you to double 2 coupons up to $1.00 but not often.
I shop mostly in Wal-Mart for my groceries unless I can get it cheaper some where else on sale or with a coupon.
I have managed to stock pile quite a bit since my feeling is even if I only save $1 on something on sale it's better in my pocket than the stores.
