I'm from Houston Texas area, looking for a coupon buddy.

Hi everyone,

I recently found out that I will be on a hiadus from work during the summer months and I am freaking out a bit since my income was our grocery money. So I have decided to start couponing in hopes of making up the difference. I was hoping to find someone in my area that I can meet up with that can help me get started. Someone to sort of "show me the ropes".

I live in the Houston Texa s area, Katy/ Richmond to be exact. So if you live anywhere near me and would be interested in teaching me the ropes, I would greatly apprecate it.

I am almost sure there is a group or 2 that meets in the Katy area. Did you look in the Couponers around the world forum?

Bump your post each day for more visibility. After this long weekend I think more viewers will be here and maybe you will get some help.

But, in the meantime, you will need to help yourself by reading articles on this site. Go to the Coupon Forum using the tabs above, find what is relevant to you, for example, stores where you shop, and start reading. You could probably easily spend several hours or a couple of days doing that. It's a lot of work and that's the beginning.

I am in the NW side of town like 45 and Little York area and I dont mind finding a group of ladies to do this with also. I am also I newbie but I understand a lot and try to find the best deals even if it means price matching at Wal-Mart and still using my coupons, but if I can get bucks (ECB or RR) I may shop there first so I can use the bucks on something else.
