Anyone from Laurel, MS area?

Recently moved to MS. I went from doubling coupons .50 and under to one store doubling .35 and under. Coupons are limited, I can not combine a store coupon and a Manufacturers coupon, its one or the other. I could use some input from other couponers who are in the same situation. I have not been able to save as much here with the lousy couponing and tax on food! My stockpile is dwindling fast!

Don't know if have found out by now, but Kroger in Laurel doubles coupons up to .60 and Corner Market does also.

I asked at Krogers and the manager told me they only double $.35 and under and that I could not combine a manufacturer and Kroger coupon together. When I emailed the Company for the coupon policy for that store, they said $.60 and under and that I could combine coupons, but it was up to the store manager what the coupon policy is in the end. The day I was there, they decided not to honor the policy. I am doing more shopping at Corner Market now.

I shopped at Kroger there yesterday and they did double my coupons .60 and under. ( I was watching). I don't know why they would have told you that. I am interested to know the coupon policy at corner market. Can you explain it to me? Do they have reasonable prices? We have one here in Hattiesburg and that would be a much shorter drive for me.

I don't have anything from the company yet on Corner Market. They are a little pricey. The flyer says they double $.60 and under.

I didn't know Corner Market doubled coupons that is great. I can't believe Kroger told you they didn't double but up to .35. I am from Brookhaven and the only Kroger around here is in McComb unless I want to drive to laurel or Jackson. Fred's Dollar Store will double up to .60 or .75 (i can't remember) every Saturday of each week. I have better luck doing the drug store deals around here!!. Isn't Mississippi Great!

I live in Vicksburg. Our Corner Market store doubles up to 60 cents but they will not take printable coupons.

I emailed the company (Corner Market) and they said to refer to their website, the coupon policy is there. It must be the same for all stores.

I finally found their policy online. It says that they DO take internet printed coupons.

I know this thread is old, but I am new here and I am also from the Laurel/Hattiesburg area. I shop Kroger and CVS. I shop Walgreens sometimes and I am going to try my hand at Rite Aid shopping soon. I prefer the CVS in Hattiesburg over Laurel as Laurel never has enough stock and the staff isn't very helpful. Corner Market does double up to 60 cents but they are an expensive store. I got the new coupon policy the other day from customer service at the Laurel Kroger and they double up to 5 like coupons up to 60 cents, but only 2 like internet coupons.
