Shopper in Dekalb, Illinois?

Hi!

I'm trying to get my bro & SIL started on couponing and just wondered if someone from the Dekalb area might let me know what stores you shop, which are "good" ones (ex. good Wags vs bad Wags), best newspaper to subscribe to, etc.
If you have any leads on pet food/supplies, that'd be appreciated too! They have two dogs.
I'll be teaching her long-distance so any advice from those already in the know would be so helpful!
These are two newly-married college kids, though my bro has been to Iraq & back (Army Reserve) so that hardly makes him a kid anymore. Still at 30 (me), big sis still sees him as her little bro. :)

Hi,
I'm in Rockford, which is less than an hour from Dekalb. Do you have a grocery store that sells Kroger or Schnucks items? Those are the major grocery stores in Rockford. There are lots of Wags stores here too. Dekalb is a small college town, so shoppers may go to larger neighboring towns to shop. What brand of pet food do you need?
