Anyone in the Hattiesburg, MS area??

We might be moving to that area (we are currently in lower AL). My husband is puttin in for a job at Camp Shelby and if he gets it we will be moving down that way within the month. Lookin for anyone in the area who could help me find the good stores to shop at as well as a decent area to live that wouldnt be expensive (we still have 8 monthes to pay on our house & DH says we arent selling it.) Of course, all this is subject to him getting the job **oh please, oh please, oh please!!** LOL TIA!!

I live a little over an hour west of H'burg. Don't really know the area well, so can't help you but wanted to say "welcome!" Look up nascarfan, she lives in that area.
