HELP Ft Hood Tx. Area Stores

Wondering if anyone here is from the Ft. Hood, TX area? My sister lives in that area and she is interested in getting into the coupon thing as well but she is telling me there are no stores there except for...

Walmart
HEB
Military Commisary
Walgreens

I just find it hard to believe that as big as FT. Hood/Copperas Cove/Killeen ect. is that these are the only stores in her area... :shrug7:

Any help anyone can offer is appreciated!

There is Target as well, and a few Family Dollars and Dollar Generals. What more are you thinking she should have access to? There is no CVS or Rite Aid. I found my best luck with the Commisary for groceries.

Yeah the new Walmart and that HEB in Gatesville are about all you are going to find, unfortunately. Unless you want to drive to Waco or Temple.

I just found it hard to believe with a population in that area being somewhere near 100 thousand (guessing) that there would be a few more grocery stores ect. Just seems really odd... I live in a town that has 40 thousand and I have Kroger, Jay C Food Stores, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens and 30 miles from me is Rite Aid, Target, Meijer, Biggs ect.

In the area there are just mulitipals of HEB and Super Walmart. There was an IGA on Rancier, I dont know if its still open though.
