OMG, I am so happy that I found this thread!

I live in the Columbus area (New Albany to be more exact!) and I JUST posted on one of the newbie boards that I am struggling to get started so I can eat something other than cereal and scrambled eggs while I am working out some things in my budget!

If anyone here in Ohio would be willing to share tips (I can't even figure out which Kroger forum is for the Columbus area or how to get any deals from my Giant Eagle) I would GREATLY appreciate it! I have read the newbie boards over and over but still don't feel like I'm quite 'getting' it yet.

I am SO THANKFUL for finding this great community of folks. My heart is warmed!

Welcome Saving Grace. Here is the direct link to the Giant Eagle forum if you haven't stopped by yet. Everyone is great and post scenarios every week to one started.

For Krogers I think you'd be in the Great Lakes one, but could be mistaken. I am in that one for Zanesville store which obviously is quite south of the Great Lakes. ;)

Hi Saving Grace! I am from Columbus too (Upper Arlington) and am excited to see a neighbor on the board! Yes, we are in the Great Lakes region for Kroger. Also be sure to check out the Giant Eagle board, there are tons of helpful posters there. And don't forget about CVS!

hi i am addicted to coupons and i am from tiffin oh any spare time that i have which isnt much is spent getting coupons i knew once i got started i would be addicted but it saves a lot of money

Wow!!! I am glad that I found this thread!! I am in Toledo. Shop mainly at Kroger and Giant Eagle....every now and then Meijer. Wags rules are too confusing for the effort. So I don't shop there unless they have a super good deal. They closed all the CVS around here years ago....the closest one to me is in Monroe, MI. But Giant Eagle more than makes up for that with their super doubles. Glad to meet everyone here.

Welcome!!! I'm from Belmont County. I often go to Amish country. I LOVE Amish country. Anyone from Columbus and is just starting out couponing you're in a wounderful place because there are so many stores with many bargains. Krogers in Columbus usually doubles up to .99. You have Walgreens and CVS. You sure can stockpile if you live in the Columbus area. There are a lot of great stores.

Dayton/Kettering area here, work and shop alot in Beavercreek/Fairborn area.....much nicer coupon policy people
