My parents normally winter in Belle Glade (Dad fishes in Lake Okeechobee), but they're moving to Astor at the end of the month (fishing terrible where they are now, but heard good reports about this area and St. John's River). They'll be in a camper at Blair's Jungle Den (used to be Ormond's Jungle Den).
They visited the campground last Saturday but didn't really explore the area.

Is anyone here from that general area (Astor, Deland, etc) and can give me info on the what's and where's of things like restaurants, groceries, drug stores, and any interesting local shops? Oh, and Mom loves going to Goodwill and specifically mentioned she didn't see one nearby (wonder where I get my frugalness from ) so...
