Oooh, there ARE lots of us! Hi, fellow Arizonans!

We're in (the city of) Maricopa. That's a bitty ol' suburb in what's technically the E or SE PHX valley. Sometimes, I do wish we were closer to Ahwatukee/Chandler/Gilbert/Tempe. There are some great deals to be had at the Target, Safeway, Food City, and Albertson's stores up there. Of course, even in my car, it would cost me a minimum of 2 gallons of gas just to drive the roundtrip to the Chandler city limits. Bah! So, I tend to stay close to home, shopping in the Fry's (Kroger), Basha's, Walgreen's, CVS, and Wal-Mart we have right here in town.

We just started getting the AZ Republic. I called Monday when I finally found a $1/wk for Sunday delivery, and they locked me in at that price for a year if I paid the year up front. They even let me do the dollar deal twice! I'll be getting two Sunday papers every week for $110/yr. Woohoo!

I know this thread is a bit older, but I sure hope there are some more local lurkers out there. Don't be shy, you guys! I'd love to make some coupon-y buddies in the valley, and I totally don't bite =P

I am in Surprise, and have been looking for locals! I follow several coupon/match up blogs, but they have different deals in their parts of the country than we do here, so it gets discouraging when you can't find the same stuff.
I used to clip coupons for my mom when I was a kid, but never really got into myself as an adult. Then one night I was behind a lady at the checkout at Fry's and watched her unload her cart, and heard her before and after totals, and I decided that I needed to do that too!
Then I found out about TLC's show. It got me totally hooked on the idea that I could save my family a good chunk of money on our groceries, though I don't believe in how some of the people on the show go about their couponing.
Anyway, I'm glad to find this thread here at HCW.com!!

Hey there neighbors, my wife and I are out here in San Diego and are headed to Glendale at the end of the month for my brothers wedding. Was thinking about doing some shopping while I was there, since it seems like prices are lower over there.

Have a few questions if you dont mind. Any stores that double coupons? If they double do you know up to how much? Is there a limit on how many coupons will double per item?

Would appreciate any help. TIA
