clippin in Connecticut?

Hiii.
I'm Brittany, and I just kind of got into coupons in the past year thanks to a few friends of mine in Pennsylvania.
I'm slowly learning and managing how to save and what's the best deal.

I live with my boyfriend & his family in Ansonia. He's part of the reason why I began clipping. I know we're going to be on our own eventually and I'm currently unemployed at the moment so the more $ we save, the better off.

I really plan to keep clipping beyond clipping once I get my drivers license.
Yeah, I'm 20 and don't drive. lame. I know.

I was looking to see if there were any girls my age that enjoy coupons like me?

I'm not sure how far Enfield is, honestly.
But yay! A coupon friend, lol.

:)

Yeah, I was sorting through the pictures of coupon files some ladies had, and my jaw dropped. I was like holy hell!
I wouldn't mind doing it that hardcore.
I'm not doing too bad for now, but I'm still taking baby steps.

i'm still in the baby steps department myself. i rarely buy anything without a coupon anymore, but i just can't see myself in a store with all my coupons in a three ring binder. anything i can't carry around (and hide) in my purse makes me feel too conspicuous. i am thinking of getting one of those little mini photo albums, i've heard those make really good sorting tools and could be hidden in a purse easily. currently i carry around all my coupon inserts in my car with a pair of scissors... i do research before i hit a store of what's on sale, what q i need, then clip it before i shop.

enfield is waaaaaay to the north of you, i'm about two minutes from the MA border, about twenty from hartford. it's got a lot of stores right nearby though!

Hey couponers from Connecticut! I am 29 from Waterbury! I love to coupon and have been doing it for about 4 years now. I don't know anyone my age that does it to the extent I do, but I have taught many people how to do it!!

hey there :]
I really just started getting into it more.

All of my couponing friends are 3 or 4 years older than me, and live far away. :[

They've been teaching me over the phone and internet, haha.

Oh and you're not too far away from me!

My boyfriend's older brother lives in Waterbury as well :]

what grocery stores do you ladies hit up in your areas? i have shaws, stop and shop and big y... price chopper too but that's around where i work. i find s&s and shaws to be very disappointing most of the time, but big y is okay when they are having a b1g2 sale.

I have Shop Rite, S&S, and Big Y.
Big Y is having a b1g2 sale soon or now, I'm not sure.

I've got no $$ to even bother looking right now.. well I'll have a little when I get my food stamps on Saturday, but that's all.

and yeah S&S is kind of disappointing.
