giving this a bump for you
Is there anyone from Northwest Indiana? Where do you shop? I am trying to find a store that I can shop at to save the most money with my coupons.
giving this a bump for you
I'm a newbie from Northwest Indiana. I shop mostly at Wiseway and Jewel for sales only, because that is closest in my town. After work or if I'm out by the mall I will sometimes go to Meijer, Strack and Van Tils, Sams Club, and Target.
I'm a newbie from NW IN also. So far I've only gone to Wiseway with coupons but plan on going to Walgreens, CVS and Walmart (for clearance/groceries).

I have never tried Wiseway yet. I have been shopping at Meijer and I have been doing pretty well, atleast I think so. I went yesterday and saved 123 and spent 114. I am also addicted to my CVS now, I havent been yet this week but I think that will change today.
I can't believe I missed this thread! I am also from Northwest IN. I have been totally slacking in the coupon area lately, my life got crazy. When I moved in with the SO he decided we needed a Sams Club, and Costco membership. I am in love with Costco and its produce, not a fan of our local Sams. The only place besides Costco that I go to on a regular basis is Town & Country, because of how convenient it is. I randomly shop at Meijer, Target, Walmart, SuperKmart, Wiseway, and Jewel. I had been debating driving all the way out to La Porte to go to Kroger. I mainly wanted to do this in hopes of finding fresher produce/meat, and because they double coupons. However, with gas prices I just couldn't justify it. I am more then happy with Costco for produce and meat, and didn't realize how fresh their stuff was.
Kmart has been doing doubles alot lately, this weekend its only the Super Kmarts I do believe.
Hi from Valparaiso here. I used to drive out to Rochester about every six weeks or so but I haven't done that in a while the Kroger out there triples coupons .50 and under. I am in La Porte every once in a while but never remember to grab the darn coupons. Wiseway lets you double as long as you spend 10.00 but its up to .90 and only 5 coupons.
I'll be taking hubby to Kmart doubles this weekend he has gotten a lot better about being patient and since they will only allow 25 I will need him. Last time we went we had to put his and my groceries in the car and then shop again because I was over the 75 for both of us.
I used to live in Central IN, and usually got all our stuff @ Kroger or Meijer.
but that was a year and a half ago, before I realized how amazing coupons are.
I've been doing a lot of my shopping at Wiseway because they double, but Jewel does have really good sales. Town and Country is close to my work, but I really noticed what they have on sale is good, but anything else is marked up and I find them kind of dirty. I grew up in Lake County and love Strack and Van Til's. I really miss shopping there, but it's just to far now. When we make a trip out to Merrillville or Michigan City I try to go to Meijer, but I don't feel like I save enough to make a special trip. Both Walmart's in Porter County are not coupon friendly at all. I also heard Ultra has great deals, but can't really justify a trip out to Merrillville or Highland unless I'm visiting family.
I do pretty well when Kmart doubles around here.
I haven't found a grocery store that has really fresh produce and meat. I was ordering produce and meat from Bruno's Organics out of Gary, but they are kind of expensive but they deliver and are family owned.
