Howdy train goers! Kristy and I have decided that we would create a thread in which you could ask those pressing train questions, and we could answer for all of Hot Coupon World to see. You can ask questions here about conducting your own train, being a rider on a train, what is and is not allowed, or any other question that you may have come up with. *note* this is not a place to drop complaints, those should be forwarded to us via PM.

So step right up, don't be shy, ask away one and all!

CHOO CHOO!

Default Re: Coupon Trains Q&A Thread

BOTH KRISTY AND MELODY WILL MOVE ANSWERS TO THIS THREAD FOR EASY ACCESS, WELL YA KNOW, AT SOME POINT LOL!!!

CBGO--great question!!:0)

I would say if there were about 12 riders and every one passed along the train in a timely manner about a month and 1/2 to 2 months. Of course it might take longer and it might be less depending on our postal service and how close together some of the mailers are. That would be my best guesstimate:)!!

HTH

Kristy

Deja Vu!! Aw shucks:)

Ok, I'll go first.

I am wondering how long a train in which one envelope is passed from rider to rider usually lasts. There are certain times of year when I am too busy at work to be able to commit to a train and want to make sure I don't get on a train that lasts for months and months. So, if there were, for example, twelve riders on a train with one envie going in one direction, how long would you expect the whole train to take to complete?

Thanks!

Aw Jess, you always know how to brighten my day! And CBGO, those trains are really cool. I have one tip from my vault that I would love to share with you on those style trains. Make sure that you are very clear on when your riders should remove all of the soon to expire q's. It really helps to keep a quality envie going!

Hi! Thanks for the question! When you have 30 unique positive itrader feedback with no negatives, you will be able to start conducting. Please see the train forum stickies for info on popular frequently asked questions and to fill out the train conductor application once you are eligible.

My best tip to give a brand new conductor is to start out smaller and create a good record keeping system. Whatever works for you is fine, but you have to keep track of where the envies are or you might look at the train one day and be like..... hmmmmm, wonder what's going on!

Thank you also for the compliment, Kristy and I work very hard to help make sure you guys have a great time trading along the tracks!

This may be a question for a different forum (please direct me if it is) but I wanted some tips on knowing which qs I should trade and which ones I should put in a train.
