newby has clipping service question

im not sure if this is where im supposed to put this but i will give it a shot. does anyone know anything about the clipping services? r they easy to use? do a lot of people use them? whats the best amount to get of each Q? i guess i will start with that, any info will help thank you.

Because couponing clipping services are more of a "business" than personal message board trading, there's more of the "trust factor" in the service websites.

A lot of people use them since they're more efficient to get a "lump" of the same amount (persay 5, 10, or 15, etc).

I've used a reference list of the major known ones and went into each website's TOS/FAQ and wrote down important information (when each order would be shipped (the next business day/time), what is the minimum amount of coupons or money order requirement, any shipping fees, etc).

The "best amount of coupons" to get really depends on you. If you're a person that wants 15-20 of the same coupon, then I'd go with clipping services. Because everyone rates their services differently, I usually compare if a service or a message board has the better deal, with shipping fees included. With message boards, it's a lot more flexible because then you're able to trade other things in money value, such as other coupons the person wants, stamps, etc.

the amount depends on what you need and what their min limit is or maximum limit is

using a clipping service allows you to click and select what you what and the number you want. you then checkout and it is done. now some may or may not be fast depending on when they ship (they all tell you when they ship based on when you order). it definately is not like trading and knowing the trader is putting the envie in the mail.

the positive is you can get 10 or this, and 10 of that, and maybe 15 of another or 5 of this. all in one envie. you pay a small fee for the service and an amount per coupon.

i personally prefer to get coupons from our traders. there are a few that i regularly deal with that i know what they get, when they mail, and when i will receive.

You also want to consider the mail route. And some clippers have limits where you can only order 10 per 7 days, per address/account.

You may have a clipper in your state & it takes longer to be delivered than 3 states away, so it's good to test some out in case you catch a sale & want to use the most dependable service available to you.

Yes, alot of people do use them every day. The best amount to get is probable at least 5 that way shipping is better worth it.
