Updates to new features

This thread will be used to keep members updated on new features of the coupon database as they are rolled out.

I will keep this first post updated with the newest updates, and give it a bump. You may wish to subscribe to this thread to be kept abreast on what is new with the Coupon Database.

11/13/08 Update:
As of today members can only add Categories to coupons when they are adding a new entry. The ability to edit the existing categories or change the categories on entries when you add the coupon to one of your lists (trader group only) is no longer available.

The reasoning behind this change is to prevent people from constantly changing the categories of coupons and removing important categories from the coupons such as the Organic/Natural category that is vital to the search for members at at our sister site Organicgrocerydeals who also share the Coupon Database.

Members of the Coupon Database admin team can change categories and if something is not categorized (Needs Categorization) or categorized incorrectly can change the entries. Please feel free to use the Report action to let us know that something needs to be categorized or re-categorized and we will use our best judgment to change the category(s).
