I have a problem with the database loading very slowly...only the database. I have a fast connection but still it is very slow and frustrating to use.

OK, something has drastically changed with the database. I have high speed DSL and up until today I have had absolutely no problems with the database, but now I am unable to access the trader lists in the database. Bugface mentioned in an earlier post that using the link with the trader name at the end was working for her but that’s not working for me. I’ve tried with Internet Explorer, AOL/Foxfire, and a brand new one called Google Chrome that’s supposed to be super fast. Amy suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

This is the same problem I have. It's so slow, that it's very frustrating for me to use it. It's impossible for me to view trader's WL's that are linked to the DB. If I try to bring one up, I get an AOL message that says my Internet is not responding. At that time, I have to restart my computer to do anything else, because it's totally locked up!! For this reason, I am unable to do any trades with people who ONLY have WL's linked to the DB. And it's also why I haven't put mine in the DB. I can't!

I have a fast DSL connection, but I have an old computer that doesn't have a lot of memory. So, I'm sure it's not on your end...but I wanted to mention it anyway.

I'm not having any problems with the speed, but again today when I try to go to a wish list or have list (either using the "trader list" button or typing in the URL directly) I get the following error: "Not Found
Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn't here."

It was working fine yesterday. I'm hoping it comes back soon so I can fill my train envies with stuff the recipients actually want!

I don’t know if this helps or not but I just discovered something. All links like this one are the ones that are bad. http://www.hotcouponworld.com/userlists/mkradcliff This is the type of link I used to use when I manually entered the username at the end, and is still the link that is given in the introduction message above my havelist.


This is the link that is given above my havelist for all the other traders’ lists and it gives the same “not found” message. http://www.hotcouponworld.com/userlists


But this is the link found in Bugface’s siggy for the other traders’ lists, it’s clearly different and it works. Coupon Database


However; once you’re in the traders’ lists page and you select a list beside a username to view you end up with the type of link that does not work. This is the link that I got when selecting my name and it is the same one provided above my havelist which doesn’t work. http://www.hotcouponworld.com/userlists/mkradcliff


But if you take the link from Bugface’s siggy and add “?membername=insert username” you will get a valid link that takes you to that trader’s list. This is the valid link to my lists. Coupon Database


Well, it appears that the addresses of the valid links are not showing up in this post. But you can still view them if you’re a trader by clicking “coupon database”.

I know it’s a pain but try this shortcut. Click on the link in my siggy and bring up my lists, then copy the paste the username you want over mine in the address at the top of the page.

we will get it fixed guys. I thought Jeff said it was fixed but it appears that it is not completly fixed. I cannot fix it myself or I would. So have to wait till Jeff gets my email and works on it.
