It is an option only. You do not have to use the database for your wish list and have list. But you sure can if you want to.

A couple weeks ago when I added something to my wishlist it would say you already have that on your wishlist--that was really nice. Now when I duplicate an item it doesn't warn me. Is this from some change or can it be put back in?

This is a bug. It is supposed to let you know but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It is something I will be looking into ASAP with the developer.

:shrug7:I'm lost on this one -- I've gone to the coupon database, clicked on a link that is there with my name, but it just reads "has not been created yet". I can't find any instructions anywhere on how to create my wish list/have lists -- TIA for any help & Reps.

Well, while in the Coupon Database, just search for the coupons you want.

On the left hand side, there's a little drop down menu under "Action." Click on that and hit either "Have List" or "Wish List."

After that, go to your "Have" and "Wish" tab. Hit "Update Post" to well, update your lists. :)

And FYI. The links in your siggy won't work because you've doubled up on the "http://www" part. Fix that and it'll be fine. :P

The database is a tool to help you see what coupons are out there. Not all the entries in the database are printable coupons.

Please read How to Use the Coupon Database for better explanation of what the coupon database is and how to use it.

Both...I try to do a major upload each week to get it started and then members fill in the missing blanks. Some weeks however members get in there and add tons before I can do my thing, and so I skip it and just try to look over everything that members have added and make sure things are OK.

By and large though the coupon database is 100% member created. And our members are GREAT about adding new entries.

Right now as I look at my admin stuff for the database there are 380 new entries that our database team has to get "verified"

That is in line with our daily average of new entries each day.

Say for example you are looking for a coupon for French's mustard. If you type "french's" (without quotes) into the database, a bunch of items will come up. Here is one of them.

French's Classic Yellow Mustard, Any - 01-18-09 SS

The 01-18-09 SS means that the coupon was in the Smart Source insert that came out on January 18, 2009. This is where you would look to find that coupon.
