More Inserts

Is there a way to request from your paper that they have more inserts? For example: 1/8 I got 3 pages of inserts. I thought it was just a low week until I checked HCW. 1/15 I got no inserts what so ever. When I called the paper to find out if it was a mistake they said that they weren't even sent any by RP or SS. I thought it was because of MLKJ day, but now, there were Qs listed here and I ended up buying from a clipping service. 1/22 I got 2 coupons..2...not coupons that I clipped, but there were only 2 in the whole paper!

I mean, my paper's never had really great coupons. Half of what I see on the insert forums has never appeared in my paper and I end up going to a clipping service to get what I need. But this is ridiculous. It's like, "Oh, it's the new year, let's drop all of the coupons all together and see who notices."

I'm running low on almost everything and having to pay full price WAY more than I'm used to because I haven't gotten Qs in SIX WEEKS! DH is even starting to get annoyed!

My local newspaper is the same way. Luckily I have live an hour outside a major city and can purchase that newspaper. It costs more but the coupons are higher valued so I guess it is a trade off.

Sorry you are having this problem. I know how frustrating it can be.
