I get one paper delivered to my house, and my mom saves her inserts for me. Once in a great while I will buy more papers if some really hot qs come out, but never more than 3 more copies (making 5 total). I then trade on here for what I want. So I guess I do what you asked - get a paper or two and use a clipping service for the rest. My paper does not get any $/1 qs that can double because we are not a huge doubling market. I have never seen a Saturday paper with inserts in it, and Dollar Tree is too far away for my to consider driving there for 5 papers. So I buy my local paper at Rite Aid where I get 10% off everything. The paper is $1, so I pay $0.90 if I want an extra.

I don't even get a paper for myself anymore. Haven't in over a year. My aunts, my sister, my MIL all save theirs for me but I still only end up with 5-7 copies usually and sometimes I don't get them right away. I have found that none of the insert coupons really excite me anymore, so if there's one I can use then I usually have enough with my 5-7 copies. If not, I will trade on here for it.

Yes, I get 1-2 papers a week and then trade/buy the rest of the q's that I want to have for future sales.

I am able to buy Sunday papers for $1 each at a local store. I go through the inserts that come in my delivered paper, and decide if it's worth it to by extras. My philosophy is this...if I can save $20 by buying 10 papers, then I come out $10 ahead, and that's good! In other words, I only by 10 papers at the store if I, personally, can save $20 with coupons I know I'll use. Also, I trade a lot (really??? LOL!!)...so having 10 copies of the inserts helps me out when I'm trading.

There are weeks when I buy 10 papers...and weeks when I look through my delivered paper, and if I don't think I can save $20 by buying them...I just trade for what I need. I have no problem paying a small amount of CC for coupons if I need to.

todays inserts (7/10) in Fresno sucked! i didn't even go to the store to get any extra ones! i just ordered from a clipping service. i already saw the preview and Fresno got less than a 1/3 of what other regions are getting, including only a 50 cent off of gain, whereas, other regions got 1.00 off of gain. wth? anyways, if i do go to my recycling center this week, anything i find for Fresno will be gravy. i'm learning where to spend my money each week because it changes every time. it's a learning process for sure!!

I buy anywhere from 15 to 50 newspapers a week at $2 a piece. I started out a couple months ago with a set budget of $100 to start and I take what I need out of the inserts and I sell/trade the rest on here and so far I've broke even each week so I can keep buying newpapers. It's win-win I get what I need and help other people out.
I will be unavailable on May 25th & May 26th from 3:30pm to 9:00pm CST. I only trade through pm's.
