I just looked for them as I was driving around.
Mostly around here in my area, pa, they are in parking lots of churches, schools, fire dept., etc....
I check them 2 or 3 times each week so I can find the new bundles on top. lol
good luck...
I am totally willing to "dumpster dive" for inserts.(especially Red plums....I get plenty of Smart Sources each week)
The problem is I don't know of any newspaper recycling dumpsters in Saint Paul, MN and I don't know how to find them????

Once you know where they are, you still should look up to see if there's any laws against picking through the bin as it IS illegal in some areas.

Sorry, another note:
although it is not illegal to search thru the dumpster (as some people believe and have stated). I do have permission from the places a search thru. My local churches and fire dept. They are more an happy to let you do it. Just don;t be an idiot and leave paper allober the ground when you are done and they will probable let you.
Actually, the places I go to, I donate alot of items to them when they need them. like food for Fish fries or other fundraiser.
good luck...
