How do you kno when to dumpster dive?

I thought this thread was going to be about dumpster diving for Walgreens Register Rewards. I've been thinking about that, myself. At least I wouldn't have the chance of getting stuck in 1 1/2' trash can!

Great idea about the Sunday papers, though. Makes me want to visit our recycling center. hmmm Thanks for the thought!

I have not read all replies but before you start to DD, make sure you check the laws/ordinance in your county/state. Better be safe than sorry since I've read others that were given permission to dive in private dumpters/bins were later given a ticket by the cops because there was an ordinance against dumpster diving in the area regardless of permission given by the owner.
