Default Why no coupons in ABJ?

I am really peeved. I live in an area that I can get the Plain Dealer, Pitt Post Gazette and Akron Beacon Journal. For the past month there have been no coupons in the Beacon Journal. Why? And how can I get the coupons to show up again(email the paper, find out the distributer, etc) This is the only paper that has Red Plum other than my mailed insert which is crummy beyond belief.

I would call the BJ customer service number - I get the BJ delivered and have gotten both the RP & SS this week and last (in fact, I have never had a problem with them - my carrier will sometimes drop off some extra inserts on Monday every since I left her a generous tip and told her how much I love q's!). However, I went to buy an extra paper today and the BJ in the stores only had the SS in them which I thought was very strange. I thought it was just a fluke but maybe they take out the coupons/some ads in the papers that are in the stores.

Occasionally I will be missing an insert, I call and they deliver a new paper the following morning. That's strange that they've been missing every week though.

I bought a Beacon Journal today...only had the SS in it though. Sounds to me like someone is taking the inserts out of them. Is your paper delivered or do you have to go and buy it?

I don't have an option to get it delivered. I buy it at the store. If it was one store that it happens then I would say it's the store. But I go different stores on Sundays depending where I need to go that particular day and it seems the entire Youngstown area is being shorted.

    This is their response

XXXXX, unfortunately some of our advertisers do not give us enough coupons to put in all of the papers we produce. They give us a designated quantity and we insert them in the priority areas and short them in areas not in our primary distribution area. We make sure our five county area for home delivery is covered first and our single copy for stores and vending is next. Areas such as Youngstown and Dover will be the last to receive coupons if we do not have enough. Certainly we would like to have enough to service all areas but the number they send us is out of our control. We can tell them we do not receive enough but that does not guarantee they will increase the number. I hope this answers your question.

The problem is I have been getting them all along until last month.
