Thumbs Up Re: How to get Multiple Coupon Inserts

In my area my local newspaper has a deal especially for couponers. I pay 13.20 for the daily paper and then .47 for each extra Sunday paper I want delivered. I get 10 extras for a total of 11 papers on Sunday. So for 32.00 a month I get more than plenty and don't have to get up and drive anywhere. And with gas prices that is awesome.

Oh, and after I remove what I need I am able to drop the unused newspapers at the recycling center. I just happens to be on my way to Rite Aid, Target etc.

How do you contact the person who delivers your papers? Do you get their contact info from the newspaper company?

In my area, our paper is ubber strict. The delivery people are not allowed to speak to customers at all. I ended my subscription recently bc it was just easier to pick them up at the store, since when you get more than 5 copies, the twine them together but don't put plastic over them and I constantly had water ruined papers. We talked with our paper about allowing us to come pick up unused papers since the paper actually picks up all the unused ones and takes them back to headquarters to be shredded. They said even though we are a non-profit and they could get a charitable contribution tax incentive, they are legally bound to destroy every unpurchased circular. They also will not allow us to purchase just the circulars, even at the same rate as the full paper. It's rediculous when we are asking for 100 subscriptions. I went to RedPlum and SmartSource to see if they would help us out. RedPlum gave me a flat no and SmartSource won't call me back. :-(
