    QUESTION Online coupon printing

Im a newbie and I have a question about shoosing which online coupons to print/how often. Do you experienced couponers print them all out or select and choose? I am not sure how often to print them since you never know what great deal will be available later?

In the beginning I printed out so many that I never used. Every month when I purged my expired coupons I would cringe at the waste of paper and ink.
So now I only print what I know I'll use that week.
That is, unless I it's a hot coupon that I know will be gone if I don't print it right away. It takes time to learn which ones those are. Usually by learning the hard way!
If you find yourself throwing away tons of unused expired printables, just learn from that and choose more carefully.

if you are going to the multiple printing ones like smartsource or one of the others, it is best to pick and choose which ones you want. sometimes at the first of the month (the add new ones then normally) you will find some that you know you are going to use. print those or a few that are super hot. the rest print when you need them .

then you have your super hot ones that come out that wont be there long. again print if you know you are going to use them or like me you are thinking you are going to use them.

you will see that some printables on our site are actually a link from the owners sister site. www.printablecouponspot.com which if i might say, is a great place to look daily to get great up to dates on all the coupons. queenofthehivemomof05 does a great job of updating all the coupon sites, and then her and her helpers make sure to post all the new ones.

another great thing to do, if the coupon prints by itself and leaves all that extra white paper ....cut the coupon out and square off the piece left. then you can reuse that portion of the paper for another print, just put it in the paper slide like you normally would. make sure to put the clean edge in first.

    Good tip.
I also use recycled paper in my printer. I just turn it upside-down and use the blank side.
I've only had one cashier (actually it was a shift supervisor!) imply that I'd copied the coupon because it had printing on the other side...
(No, she didn't imply, she outright said it was copied. I had to show her the unique code on the smartsource coupon to show her what she should really be looking for!)

I do this too! And not just for printing coupons, but for almost everything I print. I am amazed at how much paper comes home from my kids' schools.
