Just got a flyer in with my mail that Pgh Tribune Review is having a 'Take The Trib Challenge' right now where you get 3 months of Thursday AND Sunday papers--think coupon inserts!--for $1 total! I'm mailing in the flyer with my $1 check, BUT it says you can call 1-800-909-8742, or log on to triblive.com/trythetrib and pay by credit card. It says after the 3 month promo for $1, you can renew at $10 for every 13weeks of Thursday and Sunday paper. I'm thinking at least 13 Sunday coupon inserts for $1 with the promo! I think Trib Review Sunday paper includes SS and GM inserts when available. Address for mail in is Circulation Department

I called and the girl who I spoke to didn't know much about this offer...she said you have to have the flyer to get the promotion. Bummer...worth a try. Thanks for posting.

Trib has really been trying to drum up new subscriptions, I think they are probably losing customers like most other papers.
In our area they are selling our local paper at GE 2 papers bagged together for 1 cent more than the usual price of 1 paper. (double coupons for an extra penny)

Are you sure it's not $1.25 a week for 13 weeks? I can't find a reference to a 3 month offer for $1 only the one I mentioned for Thursday and Sunday's paper.

It was definitely $1 total for 3 month--which I think is considered 13 weeks of Thursday and Sunday papers... I think the reason I got the flier in my area is because I live around 1 mile from the Trib Circulation Center/Keystone Drive in Warrendale so the fliers were probably included in with all the local mail for everyone in the area. However, it did say you could call the phone# or go on the internet Trib Live site for the offer, didn't need any special unique promo code or anything,... so I assumed anyone would be eligible for the promo so long as the Pgh Tribune Review is delivered in your area. I sent my $1 check in with the postage-paid flier/form so I'll see what happens!
